Baby Aitana Update

Baby Aitana Update

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support and kindness in assisting with the arrival and care of baby Aitana Lara from Honduras.

From the moment we learned about the baby’s situation, we petitioned and asked for help concerning Aitana and your willingness to help was evident. Whether it was through financial contributions, donations of essential items, or offering your time and expertise, each act of kindness played a crucial role in ensuring the Atiana’s safe journey and well-being.

Aitana was having multiple seizures a day before receiving care in Miami. She arrived weak, lethargic and weighting less than 12 pounds at 5 1/2 months old. The doctors at home were trying to encourage the family, but were preparing for heart break because Aitana was only getting worse.

We are happy to report Aitana is doing exceptionally well, gaining weight and free from convulsions!

Your compassion and selflessness have not only provided immediate relief but have also given hope and comfort to Aitana’s family during this challenging time. It is through the collective efforts of caring individuals like you that we can create a supportive and nurturing environment, both physically and spiritually, for those in need whether in America or Honduras.

Your actions have truly made a difference and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity!

With heartfelt appreciation,

From the Family

I am writing with immense gratitude and joy to thank you for the incredible care you provided to our precious baby girl, Aitana, from Honduras. Thanks so much for  supporting us and allowing us to receive expert treatment. Aitana has miraculously recovering from her convulsions, and we are overwhelmed with relief and happiness.

When we arrived in America, we were filled with fear and uncertainty about her condition and future. From the moment we entered the Children’s Hospital in Miami, the  hospital team’s compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication gave us hope, unlike we ever imagined. The remarkable care and attention they provided made all the difference. We never knew health care could  be this professional and caring. The doctors and nurses treated us like family and gave us a warm dismissal with flowers, balloons, toys, diapers and many small gifts as we left the hospital. The hospital facilities were clean with beautiful wall decorations, better than we could imagine.

Each member of the hospital staff from the doctors and nurses to the support team, played a vital role in Aitana’s  recovery. The thorough diagnosis, immediate intervention, and ongoing support have not only treated Aitana’s symptoms but have also given us renewed hope for her future.

In particular, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kids’ Ark International, whose kindness and willingness to help save our baby’s life.  Their commitment to ensuring the best possible outcome for Aitana has been beyond imaginable and we are grateful for Kids’ Ark International and all those who stand with your cause.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving Aitana a second chance at a healthy and happy life. Your extraordinary efforts will forever be remembered and cherished by our family.

With profound appreciation,
Jazmin, Cristian and Baby Aitana

Aitana’s family is still in need of $2,300 to pay for the specialist visits since her stay in the hospital. If you would like to help them with this cost, please CLICK HERE to donate.

Thank you for continuing to support Kids’ Ark International as we make a difference in the lives of the children in Honduras.
